I was brought up in rural northwest Iowa. After graduating from Veterinary school at Iowa State University in 1978, I moved to sunny Phoenix. I have worked at Roadrunner Animal Hospital since March of 1994. I enjoy working with a great staff that has a passion to give quality medical care. My wonderful wife and I have been married since 1987. We have two boys, Riley and Austin, a beautiful daughter Courtney, and an incredible dog Annie. My extra time is filled with family activities, community service at Habitat for Humanity, travel, bicycling and serving at our church, Pure Heart Christian Fellowship.

I grew up in central Illinois in a town called Bloomington. I graduated from Veterinary school at the University of Illinois in May 2006. I then moved to Arizona to start my career. I have been working at Roadrunner since July 2006. I have wanted to be a Veterinarian since I was 5 years old, and to be able to achieve this dream and to work with so many great people at Roadrunner is awesome! I live with my boyfriend Danny, who is also a Veterinarian. We have a Siberian husky named Bear, and 2 crazy cats, Sebastian and Keira. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, shopping, dancing, traveling to exotic places, and spending time with Danny and our pets.

I was born and raised in Phoenix, so needless to say I’ve been here a while. For as long as I can remember I’ve had a pet of some sort. Currently I have an adorable black and white kitten, Frankie. She is a complete goofball with a very strong personality. I also have 2 Miniature Pincers, Hotrod and Faith. Working at Roadrunner has helped me to understand more of the care needed for my pets. It has also shown me that I would like to further my career in the animal field.

I was born in the great state of Washington. Then I lived in Alabama until I was ten. Now I live in Arizona and have for the past seven years. Some of my hobbies are horseback riding and traveling. I also have four dogs; Charlie, Butch, Sam and Little One. After graduating high school I want to attend Oregon State University, and then hopefully go to vet school. I love my job here at Roadrunner and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I love to learn new things and I enjoy helping with treatment any chance I get. It is really nice being a part of a great team and working with wonderful clients.

My name is Jennifer Schumacher and I'm from a small town in the mid-west. I graduated high school and went straight into the United States Air Force. I served nine and a half years as a supply technician.
After I left the service, I moved to Phoenix to pursue a degree in Veterinary Technology. I graduate in March 2010 and plan to sit for the state certification board in January 2011. I still intend to continue my education, whether it’s in Animal Behavior or in the human medical field.
My family includes my friends and my furry "children" – Rocky, Germen Sheppard/Border Collie, Madison – Blue Pit Bull/Lab mix and Adrian – Puggle (Pug/Beagle). In my personal time I enjoy traveling and reading.
I became a member of the Roadrunner Animal Hospital family in November 2009.

I have been a part of the Roadrunner team since December 2007. I enjoy working with animals as well as their owners. I have been around animals my entire life so working as a veterinary assistant just makes sense. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with family, watching scary movies and hanging out with friends.
